Jamaica Day 7

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe it’s been 7 days! It’s always surprising how fast the time goes when you’re relaxing! Any other time it would have dragged on forever! After breakfast today we get ready to head back to Montego Bay and our flight home. It’s 84 degrees here in sunny Jamaica. At home, it’s supposed to be 13. Good grief!
We make it to the airport after a quick stop at The Pork Pit for more Jerk chicken, of course. Now, I should tell you that on our ride Randy and Kitty started to turn this very unattractive shade of green. Much deep breathing was done in the back seat during the drive. And not the fun kind! As we chow down on our chicken, Pretty Kitty is staying up wind and in the shade. Poor Kitty.
Now, once at the airport we have to go through this incredibly long line to get through security! NOTE: Don’t travel to and from Jamaica on Saturdays. As we trudge along, I see a family following the mother whose in a wheelchair. Dammit! I knew I should’ve twisted my knee and taken one for the team. Oh well, live and learn.
Once inside we find our gate and wait. At this point, Randy and Kitty realize why they are feeling sick. Our hostess at the villa told us not to use the tap water for drinking or brushing our teeth. Well, apparently Randy and Kitty forgot and rinsed their toothbrushes with the tap water and Viola! You’ve heard of Montezuma’s Revenge, haven’t you? Well, this was…………………………….
Bob Marleys Revenge! Right?!?!?
Hey, it’s the best I could come up with. Give me a break.
Finally, we’re back home, all bags accounted for. And our luggage made it, too!
Another Board of Directors trip for the books!
Life is very good!
